Done my first track day in April last year on a yamaha gp125 {relic} done 8 laps and it seized. Two weeks later I got a loan of a ZXR400, luckily got the full day out of that.
Bought that 400 and done my first race in May at the ISB Race of the Year in Mondello. Crashed in my first race and finished 6th in the next two. Had a lot of catching up to do in the championship but with a bit of consistency and luck, ended up winning the championship by 14 points at the last round in Mondello.
Also went over to Anglessey with Iain for the ISB on the Triumph 675. Had a good weekend on a great track. First race got a great start was lying in 7th untill I fell of. Second race was a bit better, kept a calm head for once and finished 10th with Iain happy to see the bike in one piece along with my father.

Ambitions for 2009
Will hopefully be to try win the triumph challenge, do the ISB rounds for the National 400, and if i have time and any money left to try and get in some Clubman rounds on the 675. Also would like to do Athea if I get a chance as it is my local road race. For the rest of my time off I'll try to be in the gym.
